How to Order OFFICIAL Transcripts

Step 1: Logon to the Student Portal (MyCollege.LACCD.edu).  Step 2: Click on the ACADEMIC RECORDS Menu . Step 3: Select VIEW UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT on the left side and click the "Submit" button.


Official Transcripts

ORDER ONLINE: If you have no fee holds, you can now order your OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS using the Student Portal (MyCollege.LACCD.edu).

 

ORDER THROUGH WEST: Official Transcripts may be requested in person at the Office of Admissions and Records in the Student Services Building (SSB) or online. If you make your request in person, the first two (2) transcripts ever requested are free. The charge will be $3.00 for each additional transcript requested.  For online requests, the charge for transcripts is $5.25 each. We do not accept faxed transcript requests.

  • Regular Processing: Please allow five (5) business days for in-person requests and five to ten (5-10) business days for online requests to be processed and mailed.  BEFORE making your request, be sure to resolve your holds  (see Step #1 below for instructions on how to clear holds).
  • Rush Processing: RUSH PROCESSING IS AVAILABLE FOR IN-PERSON REQUESTS ONLY. Transcripts will be processed and mailed out within one business day. The cost for the first two transcripts ever requested will be $7.00 each. The charge will be $10.00 for each additional transcript requested.

Steps to Get Your Transcripts    

Step #1: Clear Your Holds

Before you order official transcripts, you must CHECK your student account for holds and PAY any fees owed. If you have holds, your request for transcripts will not be processed.

To Check on your Account for Holds:

You can check your account for holds by logging onto the Student Portal (MyCollege.LACCD.edu). If you are unfamiliar with the Student Portal or don’t think that you have an account, you should still visit the Student Portal (MyCollege.LACCD.edu) for instructions on how to log in.  Once you log in, click the "To-Do's List & Holds" menu.


In almost all cases, you can clear holds by making a payment at the Business Office in the Student Services Building (SSB), 2nd Floor. You may pay by cash, credit card or money order. Personal checks are not accepted. If your hold cannot be cleared by the Business Office. If your hold cannot be cleared by the Business Office, please contact the appropriate department to clear the hold.

Do not contact the Business Office with questions about the transcripts. The Business Office only collects money for enrollment fees, health fees, or returned check holds. The BUSINESS OFFICE DOES NOT ISSUE TRANSCRIPTS and THEY DO NOT KNOW THE STATUS of your transcript request.

 

Step #2: Order your Transcripts

Once you have cleared all holds, order your OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS using the Student Portal (MyCollege.LACCD.edu). Go to the ACADEMIC RECORDS Menu. Select OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS to open up: National Student Clearinghouse.
