- First Time College - best for first new college students
- Returning/Transfer (no additional units) - best for continuing students that have not attempted classes at another college or university
- Returning/Transfer (with additional units) - best for continuing students that earned units at another college or university
- Visiting - best for students that do not intend to complete a certificate, degree, or transfer requirements at West.

Wait Lists: To join a wait list for a class, follow the same steps needed to enroll in a class via the online student portal. You will be prompted to click a button to be added to the wait list. Note: You can only join the wait list before the semester starts. | About Wait Lists (pdf)
