Deadline to submit Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeal for Summer 2025.

December 5, 2025 
Deadline to submit Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeal for Fall 2025. 

January 23, 2026 
Deadline to submit Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeal for Winter 2026. 

April 2nd 
2025-2026 Cal Grant: First deadline for applicants to file their 2025-2026 FAFSA and GPA form to be considered for Cal Grant (state grant) eligibility. 

May 22, 2026 
Deadline to submit Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeal for Spring 2026. 

June 30, 2026 
Deadline to complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA/CADAA for students who will be enrolled in Summer 2026. 

June 30th 
CA College Promise Grant (CCPG): Deadline to apply for the CCPG fee waiver. 

September 2nd 
Cal Grant: Second chance deadline date for students who plan to attend California Community Colleges in Fall to apply for a limited number of Cal Grant Competitive Awards (state grant).​ 

October 1st 
Every year, the new Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and California Dream Act Application (CADAA) for the next academic year becomes available. 

 

Pell Recalculation Dates (PRD)

Federal Pell Grant awards are recalculated each semester to adjust for any changes in a student’s enrollment status after the initial disbursement. The final award amount is based on the number of units enrolled by the recalculation freeze date.

If students keep the same enrollment status, they won't owe any repayment. But if they drop or withdraw from classes, they may have to repay any overpayment. Additionally, classes that begin after the recalculation date are not financial aid eligible and will not count toward financial aid calculations.

For Fall 2024 term only: November 15, 2024

For Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 terms, or for the Spring 2025 term only: May 9, 2025
