CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CCCSFAAA SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

WLAC students Lauren Moorehead and Sarah Solis were among this year’s $500 scholarship award winners. “I am incredibly grateful to the California Community Colleges Student Financial Aid Administrators Association and West Los Angeles College for all of the opportunities I have had throughout my years at West. I am honored to have been the first graduate of the Climate Change and Environmental Studies associates degree, and will continue my education in environmental science. It was here at West that I learned how to lead and build a community, and I am excited to utilize those skills when I transfer to UC Davis this fall.”
