New Game Development Class
CS 173: C# Scripting for Unity Game Development
Class Schedule: Spring 2025 M & W 10:30 am to 12:30 pm

CS 173 C# Scripting for Unity Game Development I is the first course that focuses on the fundamental concepts of C# programming and some basic features of Unity to build simple games. Students are encouraged to continue with Game Development II (CS 175 Advanced Video Game Programming) which delves into more complex topics such as advanced programming techniques, multiplayer game development, AR/VR integration, and AI implementation. By the end of these two courses, students should have a deeper understanding of Unity and be capable of developing sophisticated games and applications.

- CA Residents: $46 / unit (most classes are 3 units)
CA Residents of any age who are first-time freshmen may qualify for the $0 TUITION PROMISE PROGRAM and/or fee waivers, as well as other financial aid available after filing the FAFSA - Out-of-State Residents: $282 / unit (most classes are 3 units)
Out-of-state students may qualify for grants and other financial aid after submitting the FAFSA. Additionally, many West classes use $0 cost online textbooks and materials.
