Investing in Students to
"Go West. Go Far."
West Los Angeles College, established in 1969, has been a pathway to opportunity, providing tens of thousands of students with the education and skills needed to thrive in college, careers, and beyond.
A West education prepares students with the knowledge and credentials to earn certificates, transfer to 4-year colleges/universities, advance in their careers, and embrace lifelong learning. Serving more than 17,000 students annually, West offers dynamic pathways for university transfer, career education, and personal or professional growth.
The West Los Angeles College Foundation has been a driving force behind these efforts, securing resources to sustain innovative programs and services. The Foundation is dedicated to fostering academic excellence, ensuring equitable access to education, and supporting the College’s leadership and faculty in expanding institutional impact.
Through raising awareness and philanthropic support, our Foundation champions the mission that a quality education at West should be within reach for all—regardless of financial barriers.
