Session Leader:

Understanding Money founder and teacher Bruce started his working life like many folks: with student debt and very little money. Over time, he learned to follow some simple money principles that enabled him to get out of debt, save and invest, and after a career in marketing and advertising, retire in his 50s. Bruce has dedicated his retirement years to making financial literacy accessible to all. He developed Understanding Money to foster that mission and has empowered over 1,000 people to make their way to financial freedom. He does the class pro bono and has no connection with any financial company. Bruce graduated from Dartmouth (AB in Economics, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) and Stanford Graduate School of Business (MBA, with top 10% honors).
