Planetary Event Confirmation

Thank you for your interest in our Planetary Parade viewing event at West Los Angeles College on Friday, February 28 from 5:20 pm – 8:30 pm.

Because of the popularity of this event, we are assigning staggered arrival times for our guests.

YOU ARE IN GROUP #1

Please arrive at 5:20pm

Note: Early arrivals will be allowed to join an earlier group on the viewing if guests assigned that group do not attend. Early arrivals will be accommodated on a first-come, first-serve basis as space allow. Late arrivals will be assigned to a later group, if space allows on a first-come, first serve basis.

I Will / Will Not be attending this event

This event is happening at the HLRC / Library on the top tier of campus.

• On the walkway level, hear from astronomers about this unique celestial event. Enjoy light refreshments, a themed playlist and await your group being called to go to the 4^th floor.
• On the 4^th floor, there is a short presentation before you go out to the viewing deck.
• On the viewing deck, your group will have the opportunity to see the planetary alignment with the aid of one of four high-powered telescopes and astronomers there to answer questions.
• Your group will then return to the walkway level.

DIRECTIONS

• Parking is free for this event. Park on “Level 2” of the Parking Structure.
  Enter from 9000 Overland Avenue, Culver City 90230. Turn right on Albert Vera (baseball field). Go up the hill past the intersection. The entrance to the parking structure will be on your right.
• Uber / Lyft / Taxi drops should also be on “Level 2” of the Parking Structure.
• Bus riders can catch the Culver Green Bus to the heart of campus then walk up to the top tier of campus.
