Pre-apprenticeships and Apprenticeships
West Los Angeles College is seeking interested candidates who would like to take classes while working in the industry. Candidates who are eligible to enroll, complete the necessary requirements and are successful in matching with an employer partner will be enrolled in West Los Angeles College's registered apprenticeship.
What is an apprentice?
An apprentice is a person who is learning a trade from a skilled employer, having agreed to work for a fixed period while attending classes to continue their education in the designated industry.
Are you ready to apply what you've learned to a job? We're ready to help you get to work.
Who is eligible to apply for the apprenticeship program?
Applicants must be at least 18 years or older, a US citizen or permanent resident, and completed the coursework or the equivalent of the pre-apprenticeship courses required by each employer.
