32- Hour Dental Radiation Safety (Dental X-ray Certification)
- Students must attend all four in-person sessions (including online lecture).
- In-person lab/clinic are 8-5pm.

This course trains individuals in dental radiation safety using conventional and digital radiographs, mounting and developing of traditional x-rays. This course prepares students to operate dental radiographic equipment under the general supervision of a dentist. This course is approved by the Dental Board of California-and upon successful completion of the course, students will receive certification.

Local Anesthesia Review for Registered Dental Hygienists / Dentists

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A CERTIFICATION COURSE- IT IS ONLY REVIEW.
This course will provide dental practitioners with a review of local anesthesia techniques in mandibular blocks, palatal injections and various techniques for profound anesthesia. It will also serve as a review in nitrous oxide sedation for use in dentistry. This course is open to dentistis, registered dental hygienists, and RDHAPs. Note that this is not a certification course.

Ultrasonic Certification for RDAs (also, DAs preparing to take OA or RDA exam)
This 4-hour Course is approved by the Dental Board of California. Please be aware that only students that are OAs, RDAs, RDAEFs, or a DA that has all the requirements to take the RDA exam are allowed to take this course. (CCR, Title 16, Section 1070.5(b).

The use of the Ultrasonic Scaler by the RDA to remove excess cement from coronal surfaces (above the gum line) of teeth in an Orthodontic setting. This course is approved by the Dental Board of California, and students successfully completing the course will receive an Ultrasonic Scaler Certificate.
