All things Climate Justice are important to West LA College, home to the CA Center for Climate Change Education. In that spirit, the college is also actively creating interactive urban garden spaces.

Join us for this fun, hands-in-the-dirt planting event that will yield a microforest of trees and plants native to the region for students, staff and the community to enjoy year-round.

This is a family-friendly event, all ages welcome. The College will provide all tools and supplies and afternoon refreshments. If you have gardening gloves, please do bring them.

So we have enough supplies and refreshments for all, Please RSVP

SITE LOCATION: Wildcat Walkway across from the Fine Arts (FA) Complex on the upper southeast corner of campus. Free parking is available in the adjacent S. Parking Structure. Bus-riders can catch the Culver City Bus to the heart of campus.

Enter campus from 9000 Overland Avenue. Turn right on Albert Vera (at the Baseball field). Go up the hill past the intersection to the S. Parking Structure and park on "Level #2". You'll have a short walk north on the Walkway to the planting site.
