Many students have to take a pause during their college journey - life happens. The trick is to not let your pause become a stop. The second 8-Week Session at West gives you the opportunity to get re-started, and in an accelerated way.
The 8-Week Class format helps many students stay focused and experience less class fatigue. 8-Week Classes include courses that meet degree and transfer requirements, and for your convenience, most are offered online. Classes start April 14.
If you’ve hit a hurdle like a needing your password reset, help selecting classes, finding a part-time schedule that works with your life, or assistance with clearing a hold, we’re here to help you get on track and move forward.

CLASS SELECTION TIP:
Here’s a few open classes that fit a degree and / or UC & Cal State transfer requirement for most majors:
- ART 103................ meets requirement in Arts & Humanities
- CH DEV 001 .........meets requirement in Social / Behavioral Science
- CHICANO 002 .....meets requirement in Social / Behavioral Science
- EARTH 002 ...........meets requirement in Physical / Biological Science
- SPANISH 001 ........meets requirement in Language other than English
- HEALTH 011 ...........meets requirement in for CSUs (not required for UCs)
