Dental Community Clinic

KCal News Profile of Clinic

About us

Our clinic welcomes patients from both on-campus and off-campus communities. However, the services provided are limited to radiographs, teeth cleaning, and temporary restorations for patients who meet the students' training needs. The students will carry out all dental procedures under the supervision of licensed dentists and dental hygienists.

All patients must be screened by a licensed dentist before any treatment to ensure that their case can be treated safely. No payment or insurance is necessary for services.

Please be aware that space is limited, and if the clinic is full, patients may be asked to return on different days. If you want to be screened at our clinic, please check the next available walk-in intake days on the calendar below. Make sure to arrive by the specified time on the calendar. Also, note that the calendar schedule is subject to last-minute changes, so please check it before coming to the clinic.

Notice to Patients: Potential Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Risk

Dear Patients,

Welcome to the Dental Hygiene Student Clinic at West Los Angeles College! We appreciate your trust in allowing our students to provide you with quality dental care while they learn and grow in their clinical skills. We would like to take a moment to inform you about an important aspect of your visit. As part of the educational process, there is a potential risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens, including Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV. While our clinic adheres to strict safety protocols and our students receive comprehensive training in infection control measures, we ask for your understanding of the inherent risks present in a clinical environment. The health and safety of our patients are our top priorities, and we are committed to maintaining a safe setting for everyone involved.
